This picture was taken just before we took her home at 11 weeks! I think this was taken just after we had managed to think of a good and suitable name for her!! I had picked my little black furry baby at 4 weeks (see first pic on 'introduction') and she was just even more adorable now than she was then! Couldn't wait to get her home!

What a good looking hound! I got my first Mal in January 2007, and loved him so much, I just had to get another! I went and got her 2 weeks ago (she turns 9 weeks old today).
You think life's interesting with 1 mal, you should try 2! I am convinced, though, that once you have one of these babies, you can never have any other kind of dog...there is just no way that they could possibly live up to the expectations.
Are you doing any kind of obedience training, etc.? Beau, Zoe, and I are actively involved in Schutzhund, KNPV, and IPO training, as well and some narcotics tracking. They will never be working dogs, but they enjoy doing the work so much, that there's no way I could possibly deprive them of that.
It's nice to see that there are other mal lovers out there! I will put your blog in my faves!
